Digging deeper into my core values

It’s 6.20am. I have been up all-night working on various things.

One such thing is the matter of identifying my core values.

I don’t know how generalisable it is but I found that many of what I thought were my values were sort of layered on top of the true “core” value.

For example at first I thought that my core value was greatness – because I always think big and aim high.

But when I examined it I found that I wanted to join the global elite so I would be protected from judgemental people down here among the masses.

What do you call it when people don’t judge you? Belonging.

Another thing I found was that some of my values were sort of boring or unsexy. For example productivity or order.

I feel like women would reject me if I leaned into that.

I don’t know yet if I really got to the “core” but when I look at these 9 values I came up with I feel sort of stable.
